Baptism Service March 14th
We will be having a baptism service on March 14th at Mason Dixon Baptist Church in New Freedom. This will follow our services that morning at SBC. If you need to be baptized or have questions, contact Pastor Lee at 993-6382.
Youth Community Lock-in
The youth group will have a lock-in with six other church in our area on March 19th-20th from 7:00PM-7:00AM. The event will be at the YMCA in Shrewsbury and cost $15.00 per student. This includes swimming, game tournaments, food, roller staking and lots more. If you have any questions please contact Pastor Heath at 993-6382.
Easter Invitations
On March 20th we will be helping Keystone Baptist Church as they go door to door inviting people to their Easter services. If you would like to help please meet at Keystone Baptist Church at 8:30 AM on March 20th.
Door to Door Easter Invitations
On March 27th we will be going door to door in our community and inviting others to our Easter services. Meet at the church at 8:30 AM.
New Sermon Series
Sermon for this week February 28th is: “Praying beyond Myself.” We will be looking at Paul’s prayer for the Colossian church in Colossians Chapter 1:1-14. Come ready to learn why God has created you and your mission!
A Prayer for the Nations
Have you ever felt like your prayer life was just all over the place? Was unfocused, was just bouncing around and you were really praying with no purpose? I have felt that way many times so I decided to try to organize some of my days of prayer. For instance on Monday I prayed for all of those who made decisions at our services on Sunday. I prayed for those who I knew who were struggling with physical issues and spiritual issues. Today I prayed for missions. I focus Tuesdays always on mission work our church is doing, mission trips we are taking in the future and missionaries around the world.
